On any given night there can be up to 2,700 homeless children in Albuquerque.
Many homeless youth find that exchanging sex for food, clothing, and shelter is their only means of survival.
Over 2,220 Albuquerque Public School students were homeless in 2003 - up 27% from the previous year. |
If you're a teen in crisis, and are homeless or have been physically or emotionally abused, please call our teen crisis hotline: 1-866-875-7233.

What If... |
...there was one place for children to go for help?
...kids didn't have to suffer abuse and neglect?
...kids didn't have to live on the streets?
...we really believed our children were the hope for the future?
...we didn't have to build more prisons to house our future adults?
A New Day has a dream...
Building a Brighter Future for
the Youth and Families
of Central New Mexico.
Please help us make this dream a reality.
